The Dudley — 3" Wide J Shelf Bracket
The Dudley is our 3" wide J-style shelf bracket — wider than any competitor's standard J bracket on the market. That extra width means more surface contact with your shelf, more visual weight on the wall, and more support where it counts.
The classic "J" design sends the wall mount up behind the shelf instead of below it, creating the look of floating shelves without sacrificing strength. A 1" front lip keeps your shelf locked in place. At 3" wide and 1/4" thick American steel, the Dudley handles fireplace mantels, thick-cut live edge slabs, countertop overhangs, and heavy open kitchen shelving with ease.
Every bracket is handcrafted to order in our Central New York shop by our family. No factory imports — just Tyler at the welder, Pop building custom tools, and locally sourced steel. Over 8,000 five-star reviews across our shop and counting.
